Battery life on a spare

I know it's a dumb question, but thought I would ask here. I actually tweeted with Samsung Support and they didn't know. And it may not be info that anyone is privy to. However, I have just finished fully charging a spare battery and took it out and replaced it with another. How long will the spare keep a charge? Just curious as I am going out of town, and don't have a charger, specifically for a battery.

I have a spare for my Epic 4g and I have found that once the other battery dies, the replacement will be around 10% down. That is just from my experience, however.

It will last quite a while, it will usually be down a few percent though when you put it in.
