Battery Life Percentage

I would love to be able to do that. That's another reason I leave my percentage off. To me it seems redundant to have both.

Oh you're absolutely right. However even with the redundant aspect of it, I'd rather see the percentage more so and then the battery icon, so I just deal with it ha...

I actually leave it off. Since I'm always next to a power source, not really concerned about running out of juice during the day. Either way, even while out and about, I have it off.

With previous phones, I never used the adaptive brightness feature. It was very annoying to me. I always liked a very bright screen. However, with the Pixel 3 XL, I use it now full-time and I'm liking it.

I used to obsess over battery %, until i moved over to iPhone and realized it wasnt necessary for how i use my phone. Then i came back to Android with Pixel 3, monitored it for the first couple weeks when i got device but since then its fantastic. I do have the percentage showing but by no means do i OCD over it...i usually charge my phone at night or on my work commute its plugged into AA listening to podcasts, so its always getting a boost.
