*I realize that there is a customer review for the Note 8 already in place. But since battery life has been such a big subject of debate since they sized the battery down, I thought maybe having a separate thread dedicated to battery life only seemed apporpriate. If not, I completely respect a mod's decision to delete or move this thread.

Now that some of you have had yours for maybe a day, how does the battery hold up? I'm curious to see if Sammys claims that it'll last a full day are real.
If you're like I'll be when I get mine, it'll certainly be under 'heavy usage'. :)
Screenshots would be nice as well.

Took mine off the charger this morning at 745, I'm current at 35% with 3 and a half hours of screen on time. Using high performance more.

Following up on my initial post, first full day...

I'm impressed so far. Almost 3 hours SOT at 50%. And I'm a heavy user.

The battery was at 67% when I got it home from Verizon after setting it up and downloading all the apps there. I had almost 3 hours of SOT at home, playing with it and customizing things, and when I put it on the charger last night it still had 39%. I don't think I'm going to worry too much about battery life.

Last night I got the phone, I charged it up to 100% while activating it and downloading the apps. But then I unplugged it and proceeded to set everything else up. Login to all of my apps and import the date for them, I played with everything that I wanted to, moved SD card files all over the place for ringtones and alarms, listened to music to test the speakers, watched a few youtube videos, and about 4 1/2 hours later I plugged it in at 68%. I was very impressed. Granted, that was all while on wifi, so we'll see how it does today.

To bad that can't be like that through out the life of the battery. But everyone knows the first few months are the best battery life.

But Samsung said this battery will only lose 5% of its charge over 2 years. Not like my s7edge 20 percent in 2 years

Battery life has been Ok for the first two days. About the same as my iPhone 7 Plus. No complaints here.

Ok, second full day, once again over 5 hours of screen on time
