Battery Life seems a consistent ding so far in reviews.

I have to say I'm impressed so far.

I would say during the setup process a lot of things can be synced and this thing could be a data chewing night mare, if you set it up right it can be downright amazing.

Make sure you're not syncing the Google backup cloud and the Samsung cloud all the time, do it manually when you can or this phone will run all day. I also personally use the bixby button, but turn off bixby wake to voice, and I use Google assistant with smart Lock enabled voice. Turn off the face and Iris detection and use that wonderful fingerprint scanner, and lastly in navigation bar tick open with home button hard press this way you can open it facing you and when you're holding it. I get amazing battery life with this setup, today I couldn't even get it to 45% left with 3.5 hours of SOT blaring at 60% for 16 hours.

I don't use a bunch of apps, but this was with my initial setup. Downloading updates, restoring backups, tweaking the settings and browsing the forums. And technically yes I was looking at mostly black screens. I run a dark theme and if the app has a night mode I run that. I was only stating that for my usage I was getting great battery life especially compared to my note 8. YMMV.

Ok because its odd that none of the apps are appearing at the top below the screen as mine is showing

That is kind of weird, because Tapatalk should have been near the top. It's probably my most used app and I was on it for a good portion of my sot.
