I've been seeing not very good performance from my brand new Nexus running stock 4.1.1 JB. The screen seems to be taking up a lot of the battery life. What could be causing this?
This screenshot shows light use, some Facebook browsing and Whatsapp messaging. The games I had played from the night before, and I've charged since then. I'm usually on WiFi and I'll usually get like 12 hours out of the phone before it gets to like 30%. I expected much better performance. I've disabled all window animations and transitions, I didn't need them. I've turned down the brightness to zero, yet I still see the screen taking up such a large percentage. I understand its size will cause this but it just seems like a lot compared to what I've seen elsewhere.
