Battery life?

What are people's experiences with battery life so far? I feel like I've read loads of great reviews but mine isn't living up to them. Had it 3 days and it barely seems to be lasting a full day of use. Today I've have only managed to get 3 and a half hours on screen time and have 14% battery left and that's with a 15 minute fast charge during the day. What have others had? Wondering if I need to send it back for a new battery. (I'm UK based so should have exynos)

My battery is good and if I left it off charge I could easily get 36 hours with about 3 hours on screen time.

Is there a particular app your using that is consuming loads of battery? I'm in the UK too so have the same processor as you.

Life also differs based upon screen brightness, location services, and whether or not you use power saving mode and adjustments as well as usage habits. I use the Material Dark theme and keep screen brightness at 30%. No problem having plenty of battery at day's end. In the US, BTW.

No problem here. I am getting anywhere from 26 hours to a full day and a half. Loving the battery life on this phone.

Aside from what seems to be some flukes and atypical results in the first few days, I've been fairly happy with the battery life on mine. I'm not a heavy user, but most nights I'm texting quite a bit and usually finish out the day in the 60% range.

I've been trying to start a new habit of charging my phone to full charge before I go to bed and then leave it off the charger all night. From what I've read that should hopefully be easier on the battery, so I'm doing it as much as possible. Being that this battery is not removable, I'm giving battery longevity a strong focus.

I upgraded from an s6 and my s7 battery is waaaaay better. Before when I got off work I would have to charge my s6 to make it the rest of the evening. But my s7 I can't run the battery dead before bed.
For me there is a big difference in battery between the s6 and s7.
I'm happy with the battery in my s7.

Mine had been bouncing between awful and awesome and I wasn't been able to figure out why. It seems like it's better lately so maybe it was doing something the first several days. I would say that anyone getting the phone new should give it an amnesty period of a couple of weeks on battery life.

Bear in mind that battery life may depend on which model of S7 you have. Global with Exynos 8890 chip or U.S./Chinese with Snapdragon 820, as these GSMArena comparisons on the S7 Edge demonstrate.

GLOBAL EXYNOS 8890

U.S./CHINESE SNAPDRAGON 820

Is Google phone backup going on in the background? I've never used it when I found out it was eating up my battery.

I have had both the s7 and the s7 edge.. I took the edge back cause it kept crashing... long story short in love with the battery life and the s7. I can go a long time and now with the mophie case I can get more use out of it... in love with wireless charging. So far so good.

I don't get what your screenshot is showing? Where is the usage?

Not even close to accurate, yeah your phone has been on 6 hours but for all I know it could have been sitting on a table, and that estimate of 18 hours left is an estimate a bad one at that unless you leave it on that table it's sitting on

It is actually 100% accurate. It is 6 hours of my average usage and as I stated in my original post I was talking about my experiences. But you can pick apart any of the millions of posts on this site if it makes you feel better.
