So I know this has been tread on but now that reviews have started to trickle out and that the countdown (pretty much) is on, what do people think about the battery?

Do we want a case with extra power up capabilities?
A seidio kit to crack open and pop in a new bigger and better battery?
Do people really just carry around big ol charge packs?

I would love a case with extra juice as need be. That would probably be the best in my mind due to not having to crack it open all the way (although the OG Evo was way easy to tear apart)

If there was a HUGE increased battery I'd definitely be willing but it'd have to be quite a bit larger and I'd have to see a tear down from ifixit or such.

The charge pod is totally out with me and I really dont get it.

Thoughts? opinions? rumors? ideas? objections?

I might go for a Battery Case type thing down the road.

But for me I have no problem with Charge Blocks. I have 3 different sizes for my needs and they just work very good. Even with my Evo I just got tired of swapping batteries when i can just have a booster charging while it's in my Pocket.

Just get one of these and keep it in your bag or car or something so that you can charge without having to worry for a plug. it holds 10000mah and the evos battery is 2000 is you could charge it fully 5 times

that said the phone has one of the best batteries on a phone to date so maybe you wont need it.

Amazon.com: Anker Astro3 10000mAh USB External Battery Pack and Charger (Power Bank) for iPhone 4/4S/3GS, iPad, iPad 2, the New iPad (iPad 3), iPod Touch/Classic/Nano; HTC: One X, Sensation/XE/XL, Radar, Sprint EVO 4G, AT&T Inspire 4G, Incredible 2,

I have an

Anker Astro 5600mAh Like it's smaller profile and uses a MicroUsb to charge (just got this one)

SPARQ 2.0 6000mAh was my 1st but is a bit big and bulky it just plugs directly into an outlet

Isound 16,000 mAh This is my big boy for when we will need a few phones charged while out or live streaming in amusement parks . Only draw back is it has it's own charger so have to carry that when we are away instead of stuff I would already have

I was also running 5 batteries for my Evo and even a full day of stream at Disney I never ran out of juice . I just like that I can keep the phone topped off with the boosters and not have to worry about swapping in the middle of streaming something

I'm really not opposed to any option. I think a case is easier to get in your pocket without having to worry about the block charger scratching my screen while it's in my pocket. However. I have a nice little stand on my desk at work that holds my phone while the wall charger is connected. This keeps my phone charged up to 100% until 5PM rolls around. I have never drained my battery all the way down starting at 5PM to the time I go to bed (where it gets plugged back in and charged back up again). Now, the weekends are going to be the real test. We'll have to see how well the 2000mAh internal batter does when I'm running around all day without a charger available.

Yea I normally keep the Boosters in another pocket and just run the cable however to that one so it's not near the phone to scratch it up. Or I keep the booster in one of the several carry bags I have if pocket space is at a minimum
