Battery performance drop after updated to Nougat?

[AC Question]

I had the fingerprint and battery performance drop after I updated my phone (6p) to Android N. I cleared the cache partition, and that didn't help. I am pretty sure I don't have an app that consumes that much battery. Is it just me or someone else is experiencing it? Also, every time when I get a system update, I get two (same) notifications. I always have problem with major android update. Getting very frustrated!

Do your battery usage stats offer any clues at the end of a day's use?

I would suggest that you test the Opera Max app which can help you better adjust and minimize those apps when tend to draw more from the battery when not in use. Opera Max can also eliminate or isolate those apps which are not import or simply running in the background in order to save data usage.
