Morning friends
I'm looking for affordable recommendations for a tablet?

I currently using a Samsung 10” A7 tablet about a year old
The battery life is terrible!
With a full charge, With 3 hrs of use its down to about 30%
Only watching videos
Or is it possible to just replace the battery? Easy?

Also, test your tablet in Safe Mode for a day to see if the problem is due to some 3rd party app you installed: www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062983. Safe Mode temporarily disables all 3rd party apps to help figure out of a problem is due to something you installed vs the system itself.

Yup. Check your apps. Years ago I was getting very poor battery plus my data was going through the roof. Turns out I had a yahoo mail app installed that was constantly pinging the yahoo servers to sync. Bye bye yahoo.
