Battery replacement on Pixel 2 xl

So my battery is finally starting to degrade on my Pixel 2 XL. I wanted to see if anyone thinks it's a good idea to get a battery replacement for the phone? I can't do it myself, I'd have to take it into a repair shop. Is it worth it? Or should I put that money towards a new pixel? I'm just not completely sold on the Pixel 4. The other thing I thought I could do is just buy a power brick and carry it with me. Thoughts? Thanks!

Yeah, I think it's worth getting the battery replaced if you want to keep the 2xl as your primary phone and everything else works fine. Last I checked places were charging $80 - 100 for battery replacement service.

I have the Pixel 2 and got mine replaced for $80 at an authorized Google Repair Center (UBreakIFix) the beginning of November. I didn't notice much difference in battery life until a few days and now I do. I did have to take mine back a couple weeks later because people were hearing an echo of their own voices while talking to me. Turns out they had torn the noise cancelling thingys. Google has them replace the entire screen for that, which they did at no charge to me.

I had the same issue after 22 months and got a good deal on a 3a XL.....great battery life....nice phone and really happy with it.

I actually called Google and they sent a replacement. I set up this phone as new so if there are any bugs in the old system they wouldn't carry over. I hope Google replaced the battery in this refurbished phone! We will see.

Will do! So far it seems definitely better than my old pixel.
