Not sure if was covered but can someone confirm whether or not it makes sense to run battery down to under 15% or less? Does that help or hurt the battery? Is there an app that will run it down properly if indeed it makes sense to run down the battery.

I am always looking for a way to increase battery life on incredible. I love the DINc but I think HTC missed the boat. What I don't understand is wwhy someone who roots the phone can fix the battery problem and HTC and/or VZW can't put a fix in
Mind boggling

Thanks Droid Forum
Otherwise, I love my phone would not trade for anything including the Iphone
Happy New Year to all!!

Generally speaking you should always completely drain a battery atleast once a month. Reason being it keeps the cells in the battery moving, which will help in it's longevity and retain its already lack luster battery life. However if you're an upgrader every 2 years you probably won't notice too much of a difference with draining it once a month, I'd also recommend replacing the stock 1300mAh battery and get the 1750mAh from the AndroidCentral store.
