I am planning to buy a parted Samsung galaxy note 7 and fixing it to install a fan edition battery. The 3200 mah battery. Where are the sales of the galaxy fan edition battery?

I am of the impression of this: between the recall and the fact that it's an 8-year-old device, you won't have too much luck finding anything.

Not just that but even if you did source one are they even safe at this point. Improperly stored cells can be either completely useless or as dangerous as the originals.

And buying dodgy 3rd party ones is a "burn down the house" situation waiting to happen.

And Samsung IIRC pushed out an update to brick non-FE Note 7's and am pretty sure most major carriers (depending on where you live) will have it blacklisted too.
