Battery Saver Mode = Speed Boost

I've had my phone go into Battery Saver mode a couple of nights this week (playing with the phone during the World Series). One cool thing I noticed when in battery saver is that the Droid Turbo is much, much snappier in speed. It's almost as if it has a Turbo kicking in! (I'll get me coat...)

If you want to try it and see, do:

Settings > Battery > tap the 3-dot menu in the upper right hand corner > Select Battery Saver

I'm not sure if lollipop throttles the CPU performance, but it disables all the animations and aesthetics and also manages background data and services, so it could definitely be snappier
