Are there any tips and tricks to improve the battery life on Rezound? I am new to REZ and looking for help.

Biggest factor is display drain, so keeping the brightness down helps considerably. Don't activate Bluetooth unless necessary, and keeping system on CDMA-only (3G) if you don't need LTE speeds will add to battery life. Enjoy it -- it's a great phone.

You can turn off wifi/3G/4G and still get texts & make phone calls... (might be common knowledge now but it knocked my socks off when I first learned it)... if you work in an abysmal signal location, save your battery for when you get out of there.

I was out if town where I could sometimes get half a bar and occasional 1x data. The drain on the battery was immense. Dropping into airplane mode and enabling only WiFi if an access point was available gave a big advantage.

Oh, and always carry a charging cable, a wall USB AND A CLA charger.
