Battery usage after the update

Hmmmm, not really seeing a difference @ all. :( I even rebooted & then shut it off.

What do you have running? This is it on mine. 1382222689315.jpg

No I'm not rooted. Go in to settings, apps, then swipe left for "running" and see what's listed.

Whoa, & I swipe away all my open apps.

Dang, that's a lot of stuff running. I would disable att locker. Does all of this start automatically after a reboot?

Ok, just did a reboot & yes, when I checked list was still growing. And how do you disable att locker? I'm not seeing it listed in my apps.

FOUND att locker & I'm not signed into it. Would I still need to disable it??

Yes, disable ALL att apps, swipe left from running apps to "all apps" and disable the ones you don't use.

I disabled A LOT & rebooted. List of what's running is cut in half, but battery drain is the same. I'll give it more time.

Just keep trying different things , you can force stop the ones that are running except for smartcard, settings and sense.

Just wanted to give my two cents since I updated to 4.3 my battery life got much worse. I tried everything from wiping the cache partition to uninstalling recent apps. I ended up doing a factory reset as a last resort and it fixed the issue. I was losing over 10% an hour on idle which was really annoying since before the update it was fine. I did not have a ton of apps either maybe 10-12 so one of those had to be the culprit. I like the tip about the AT&T apps since these always start on boot. I just forced stop all of them and disabled.

My battery seems to last a little longer than before the update.

By doing the factory reset, are you know using 4.1.2 again? If so, did you dl the upgrade again?
