Battery use on ICS (Screen)

After flashing the ics leak has anyone had a issue with the screen taking up 80% or more battery use even when settings are set low?

Others have mentioned this before usually if i remember right a reflash fixes it...

How long ago did you flash it, and what was your screen on time.

I flashed it two days ago. I have no idea about screen on time. I just use the phone like normal.

I flashed my phone this past Saturday, I did the install twice and everything has gone smooth.

I actually got 12 hours Sunday which is pretty good but thought it was odd that the screen use was so high...

I wish my AC app wold notify me lol but should I re flash the file again twice or just do a factory restore to maybe fix the problem?

My time on is 2hr and I have it set to about maybe 30% brightness but it's still at 79% use???

I'm not sure this is reporting correctly. I had Gsam battery monitor installed for a while, and it would always give me a different report. Usually it was 20% screen, and like 70% apps, then some random crap for 10%.

If you have not, press where is says screen, and that next screen will give you screen on time. I usually only get about 2-2.5 hours of screen on usage, but that lasts me about 12 hours a day. This is about what I got on GB as well.

Yeah think the fact that the built in power monitor doesn't show all the processes running on your phone makes it appear that the screen uses a much larger percentage than it actually does. As twolastnames said..check GSAM battery monitor..currently sitting at 23 hrs on with 2 1/2 hrs of screen on time and it said it used only 18.2% for the screen.

Don't forget the way android reports usage: "Of all the power that is gone, you screen has used 79% of it"

Suppose you and I sit down to have a pizza (8 slice pie, anchovies FOR THE WIN!!)... and we each have one slice. Android would report that "Lactose the Intolerant usage 50%" and "MacHouse83 usage 50%" ... does this mean we each ate half of the whole pizza? Nope... but we each ate 50% of the pizza that is missing.

Ok that's understandable, I mean I get good battery life when I got a strong signal so it's not to much of a big deal... Just thought it was weird.
