battery monitor is what i use...

i installed the following on my atrix thru CWM, it gives you a 1% battery indicator over your battery icon. i also use the battery monitor widget from the market.

Another vote for "Battery Monitor Widget Pro" the best of the best. The thing has like a dozen different widgets including single % you can just stick in the top menue bar.

this will only work if you are deoxeded... trust me...
