Since one of the last updates it seems like my battery drains faster during the day. Last night when I put it on the charger it was down to 40%. I usually end it the high 60s and I was not using it all day.

I haven't seen that on my 9 Pro XL. Could it be that you were somewhere with poor cell signal for a time that day?

Anything unusual in the Battery Usage menu?

Actually, yes. I noticed the 2 largest app usage was Chrome and Facebook, in that order. I was a little surprised that Chrome was higher as I really didn't use it all that much, especially when compared to Facebook.

Also make sure you're on the latest Google Play System.

That raises the possibility that Facebook is misbehaving (and perhaps it's causing Chrome to as well, since it might be accessing the browser). Try uninstalling Facebook temporarily.

I think I figured out the Chrome part. I view Google News and I believe it's just a link to articles on the web. That explains a lot. As to Facebook, I admit to being on it quite often. Still, I feel like I am getting somewhat less battery at the end of the day than I used to and I attribute it to one of the last updates. Maybe next month's will help.

I had noticed a little more drain on the last update, but apparently it got fixed with the latest. Standby drain is gone, just got home from work, phone off charger at 5 AM and 89% left at 5:40 PM.
