I think this is a widespread issue and because android OS doesn't show what's in it. Its almost impossible to pinpoint what the issue is.

Also check the listing of the running apps in Settings. See if any apps that should not be running. Maybe list them here. Someone might be able to help.

Thanks for all the advice. Not sure if this is it, but I un-installed Dashclock and the drain stopped.
