BB price match question

Im wondering if anyone has bought a Galaxy Nexus for retail at BB and got them to price match Verizon. Online BB has the GN priced at $799!? VZW has its retail price at $649 as we all know. I got a lot of BB gift cards for Christmas that will bring the retail cost down quite a bit.

They should price match as long as Verizon has them in stock. They will call the Verizon store to ask if they have any in stock. If Verizon doesn't have any in stock they won't price match.

I just done this yesterday,as long as they have them in stock we will match it.

Why does it matter if they have it in stock or not? Thats a horrible price match policy. Basically asking me to go somewhere else to purchase it. If they dont have it in stock, i will wait a few days rather than paying an extra $150 for the device. Either that, or price match it.

Best Buy will price match items if sold and shipped by Amazon.com but not their smaller partners stores.

Stopped by the local BB, they had one left in stock and it was being held. So Im going to stop by the one near work. Strange thing is I asked if they would price match the retail VZW price and he said possibly...

I went back and read line for line the price match policy and dont see anything that could be used to justify this...

Id do a little research on which best buy you go to. I sold my old phone to do price match which they said they would. Then when i got to the mobile counter they said they only proce match contract which to me is totally dumb. Well i raised hell called corp and told them they would have to pay me cash for my phone i just traded. Three hours later of.battle i got them to do it because i had raised enough hell. The guy tells me that each best buy has their own policies and that this one didnt price match mobile eventhough when i called before they said they did. Well i walked out with my GN bcause i was not having their crap.
