I got my case. My screen broke while in it. Never broke a screen before. It was in my shorts when I took them off . Not acceptable

I like the black one.I think I want the 12' drop tested one... Might buy the 6' drop tested one until the other one comes out.

I contacted sprint. With a bit of coaxing they agreed to replace it as a manufacture defect. I think they classified it as a shipping issue, not sure though.

Once they decided they would replace it, I invoked my customer satisfaction guarantee and called the whole thing off. I don't have the replacement yet, and they cancelled that order. So the phone I am sending back will be broken. We will see how that goes.

I honestly loved the phone. It was very snappy, I liked the squeeze, and it was good looking.

As stated in other posts, I haven't cracked a screen, and I have had several accidents that probably deserved it. I had none with this phone. It was good when I put it my pocket, and cracked when I brought it out.

I am not saying there is an issue with all U11's. I am saying there was an issue with mine. I have decided to forgo the ridiculous price for phone insurance that I have paid for for about 7 years (over $1000), and have never needed.

I can't risk having a phone that is this prone to breakage.

I know they shipped about 2 weeks ago. I'd have to recommend that you invoke the same customer satisfaction guarantee. You can always order again when the dust settles, if there isn't a problem with the phone.

My U11 screen cracked too after a 3ft drop into a wooden floor. It's being taken back as a manufacturing defect.I love the camera and the battery life is decent and it's my first HTC in 3-4 years and I enjoyed using a HTC device again. But I'm in two minds if I should replace it with another U11. I was thinking of going with a Sony XZ Premium in the hope it will be more durable. I'd like to stick with a U11 but 2 years is a long time to hold onto a fragile phone...

It's better than the one that came with the phone and probably okay for short drops to softer surfaces... I'm going to use it and be extremely careful and buy black Incipio Dual Pro when it comes out soon, or the Spigen Hybrid, if they make it.

I pre ordered the Spigen case and it came in today. Fit well and looks good. I really hope it's enough protection from a short fall. I emailed Spigen, and asked them to consider making the Neo Hybrid for this model. I would feel a lot better with that cases protection. Here's a couple of pictures of the new case. I just don't understand why someone would buy a beautiful $650 phone and then put a case like this on it. It is now bulky and looks like any other phone out there. To each his own I guess.

It's really simple. I like what the phone does on the inside and as beautiful as this phone is, it is extremely fragile and will crack and break with the slightest drop. Even if I could afford the repair cost or deductibles, I don't have a back up phone to use while this is in the shop. This phone is slippery, and I don't care how careful you are, you are gonna drop it sooner or later.

Trying to decide if its worth the cash now or wait for other cases to come out lol incipio really only hase the only 2 good ones, the spigen ones too thin for me.
