Be careful. Snoozed alarm fail.

I used the built-in Alarm feature - the sound was one of my MP3s (a song). The alarm went off on time; I snoozed it and never heard a peep afterwards. I see the snooze icon in the status bar, though.

Missed an appointment.

A test of the same alarm worked afterwards. Still can't feel comfortable relying on HTC's alarm.

It's probably safest to use only the built-in ringtones when using HTC's alarm.

Thank you for the feedback. I won't bother testing it, and will file a complaint with HTC.

The snooze function works on my Rezound. I set a test alarm and snoozed it for ten minutes. The alarm went off again as expected.

How 'bout the snooze function on the HTC Rezound Calendar? It doesn't work on the TBolt. Never has.

Hmmm...seems it doesn't work on the Rezound either. However, you can set multiple reminders for a calendar event that can act like a preprogrammed snooze.

Think of this as a feature, guys. HTC is letting you know that the early bird gets the worm. Besides, snoozing is just postponing the inevitable.

For the record, I've been using the built-in alarm clock on my stock Thunderbolt since getting it back in April 2011 and have never had a problem with the alarm even in using an mp3 (Eagles - Hotel California ), stored on the root of the SDcard, as the alarm tone. Initially, I had some reservations and continued to use the regular bedside alarm clock as a backup, but stopped doing so after a couple weeks. Admittedly, I don't use the snooze button very much, but anytime that I have or even in testing it, it has always worked. :)

My snooze failed today...luckily I didnt miss anything.

Set alarm for 6:40am, snoozed, then woke up at 7:15am. The alarm was still in "snooze mode" but it obviously hadn't gone off after the first 10 minutes.

i have had this happen numerous times as well, not all the time but enough.

i am now using alarm xtreme, something like that, from the market. no problems with it so far.

Once I discovered that HTC's snooze is a fail, I installed this Alarm Clock Xtreme - owned it a couple years now, and it's very reliable now-a-days. It had some issues early on, but the devs update/fix it quite a lot.

I am pretty sure there has been a failure of the alarm to even go off the first time for me.

I have to have three clocks set. Rezound alarm set to got off at 6:00am sharp. Palm Pre set to fire off at 6:10am (this one is across the room so I have to get up to shut it off). Standard SONY am/fm clock radio 6:30am.

Now, I could have very easily turned the rezound alarm off in my sleep as I have been known to have conversations with myself in my sleep...

This is true for me too. Today had my first problem with this. Alarm was set for 7:10, it went off the first time at 7:16. Didn't think much of it until i snoozed with slider and didn't wake up until 7:48. Snooze was still in the notification view, but never went off.
