Got these in earlier this week figured I'd share my thoughts for those interested.

The case has a finish which they call sand. It feel great in hand, I really like it. It has actually made the Note 4 much more comfortable to hold given that it has rounded-off edges. I got it mainly for improved grip and comfort, without adding bulk, and it accomplishes this really well. If you're looking for a cover case this is a great option, it's abut $8 on Amazon, it can be had in a variety of colors. I'm very happy with this purchase.
Since I got the Note 4 two weeks ago I can't really find a place in my car to put in comfortably as I don't really like to keep phones in my pocket as I'm driving (I don't text and drive, it's just a comfort thing). The cubby that which fit my OG Moto X perfectly doesn't really cut it, the cup holder is also a tight fit. I ordered a car mount that fits in my CD player slot and attaches the phone magnetically. It comes with two metal plates: small one is 0.25 mm in thickness and the large is 0.5 mm thick. The small one will fit underneath the pleather battery cover if you like to use you phone case-less, although this will take a bit of finagling and when you put your phone on a flat surface there'll be a very slight bulge which results in the phone not being flush with the surface. This is most noticeable when you hit the home button on a flat table. I used the large plate and put that in between the phone and the Bear Motion case. It fits really well without noticeable bulging and attaches to the phone mount just as well. My car has a somewhat firm suspension and the roads here can be pretty rough but the phone stays attached very well. Taking it on and off the mount is super easy and convenient as well. I'd highly recommend this as an alternative to a suction cup based mount.
