So lately I have been taking my Rez out its protective TPU gel case a LOT. I always hated how bulky this phone (or almost any phone for that matter) gets with a case around it. They say the Rez isn't the prettiest thing in the world but in my eyes it's pretty damn sexy naked.

Now I do have a nifty Realook screen protector on it but heck this phone is just so much nicer and sleek looking without anything else. Am I afraid to drop it now? Heck yes, but I found love in a hopeless place. (Thanks Rihanna)

I also think it looks great without a case, but I also think my Incipio Silicrylic looks pretty good too.

Didn't even bother with the screen protector on this phone. Had a Zagg on my original Inc for well over a year and when I finally took it off I realized how much I had missed the smooth scrolling you can do without it on.

As for cases....I bought a case for it and used it for about 2 months but I had to constantly take it off at night to put it on the dock for my bed side clock. After a while I just said F-it and stopped using it altogether. I've been rocking it naked ever since. That was back in March...so far no problems *knocks on own head* and no scratches.

I like the heft of this phone so much without the case...fits my hand just right.

I have one of those cases with a built in "kickstand" that slides out. I prefer it naked too but I'm just scared I might drop it. I wish I had put a screen protector on it though... 'cuz now I have a mysterious little scratch on the screen and now I'm worried about resale value if I ever wanna get rid of it for something else :-/

I have 4 TPU cases for my Rezound. I have two of the Cruzerlite Androidified ones, and two of the Duragel ones that are just simple colored translucent cases with the little dot things on the inside of the case. I think the Rezound looks great naked, but I don't trust myself enough to try and go without some sort of protection on it. I always use screen protectors too. I know it knocks the screen sensitivity down a little bit, but I've gotten used that and feel like the good outweighs the bad in that department.

I hate the Zagg and the ghost armor protectors. I just use the simple ones from Verizon. Slides just as nice. Can't see it. Slick. Love it and protects at a reasonable price.

Aye, I hear ya. The rez is a pretty solidly built phone but it doesn't hold a candle to the durability of my old D2 IMHO. I always went naked on that phone without any worries..the fact it was part metal and the screen was Gorilla Glass gave me a piece of mind. It's interesting that less and less Android phones (Nexus) tout Gorilla Glass which leads me to believe it isn't as much of an improvement anymore compared to other hardened glass. The S3 with its Gorilla Glass 2 didn't offer much protection in drop tests: Samsung Galaxy S3 meets gravity, Gorilla Glass 2 display suffers the consequences
Still after reading folks had hairline scratches show up on theirs I quickly applied the protector..even though despite sensitivity it also takes away from the beautiful screens contrast a bit. (in brighter environments at least).

When I'm not moving around a lot (eg sitting at my desk) the Rez goes naked..when I'm on the roll the TPU case goes back on

I agree that the Gorilla Glass may not be the huge improvement people would like us to believe it is. I'm a firm believer that ANY phone's screen can break if it's dropped just right. My bf dropped his old BB Bold numerous times with no damage (he kept it in the leather case at all times), until one day he dropped it just right in our garage. It must've hit right on a corner, and that was the end of that BB. I've warned him to be very careful with his Samsung Stratosphere, because the screen is much larger on it. I got him a hard case that clips around the screen with a second piece that goes around the keyboard slider portion, but I know it doesn't offer 100% protection.

I'm too darn lazy to take my TPU case off when I'm at my desk lol. I do like how it feels without a case though.

The rez is absolutely sexy without a case, Due to having the extended battery on mine I haven't had a case on for months now and it feels great. I do however have a screen protector on even though the screen is just magnificent without it on, I had to get one due to noticing an almost invisible scratch when I had the screen off. Cases don't do these phones justice, they are some sexy beasts when naked

I wish there was an attractive case with a kickstands. Not the ugly design I have seen in the store and online. Wish they could make one with a kickstands like the bolt...my previous phone.
