Enabled in the froyo update but couldnt find anything. So i decided to set my router to only broadcast in 802.11 n and voila. Still connected. So guess that means it does indeed work yeah?
 
Sounds like it. Wifi N is a pretty big thing. I'll try to check it out with my router/Evo.

As they said it would. It actually worked with the last firmware update before Froyo, but not announced as such.
 
actually, yes. froyo was announced that it would bring wifi N. the real bummer is that the Evo 4G has a dual-band chipset (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) but only works for 2.4 GHz. if you have a 5 GHz router, the Evo 4G won't see it.
