current tab 10.1 wifi owner here. i definitely would consider an LTE/4G version and with it being a little more portable at 8.9, i think this might be the right one. i think the only thing stopping me would be data pricing. anyone else?

I am a fan of the AT&T data pricing model, where you can go month to month if you choose to, so I hope that AT&T carries this device.

This will probably be my choice as well as soon as they release an LTE compatable version. I think it's rumored for November on Verizon.

I've been waiting for this tablet to come out but now that the 7.7 came out today with the SD card and Amoled screen...choices.

This is the tablet I originally wanted, but when Staples put out their $100 off tablet coupon I couldn't resist the GT 10.1.

actually, the 7.7 model was interesting, too, but looks like they pulled it.

for those buying from mobile carriers like ATT, VZN, Sprint, etc. how much of a price difference between ones with mobile radio added and just plain wifi? as mentioned by @Major, month-to-month data plan is nice, as i don't need it everyday. just when i travel, which unfortunately is not as often as i'd like anymore.

i might have to post this question in a more general area.

If they upgrade with a SD card slot so I can expand the memory I will buy one. If not I will wait for the next model. A little frustrating that they announce these models in Feb and its Sept and still no launch.

Interesting that the 8.9 has a micro usb, while the 10.1 does not. Could be of value to some customers.

I don't see it on bestbuy's, samsungs, or engadgets specs so I think its doubtful at best at this point. I think that would be something they advertised heavily.

No external storage, and $469.00? No thanks. At $399.00 I would buy it. I think $399.00 is the right price for a 10 inch tablet, so I'd have a hard time dropping 470 clams on this one.
