Android Central Question

Hi, I would be really thankful in having some help with seeing if my phone is ok. I have depression and anxiety and having being hacked before it caused me a huge amount of stress. I have avast which I dont think is any good. But there is so many apps on my galaxy thats its hard to find if somthing is malware. My incoming calls screen sometimes changes looking very different, also messages. when i was doing a search a google location map came up which said it was on apple i thought this was very odd, when i checked my duckduckgo it said it was turmed off due to a vpn I had no vpn turned on.just things seem to be very strange on my phone sometimes, could someone please help

Welcome to Android Central! Here's another guide that might be helpful in keeping safe: [GUIDE] How To Avoid Malware - Android Forums at AndroidCentral.com

Which Samsung phone do you have? How does your call screen look different? What do you mean by doing a search on messages that brought up a Google location map, and where did it say it was on Apple?

Screenshots always help -- just block out any identifying information beforehand. http://forums.androidcentral.com/ge...ide-how-post-screenshots-android-central.html

Are you by any chance viewing that map via Duck Duck Go? They appear to use Apple Maps in their browser results.

Please list the things that are happening.
By all means add screenshots, which will help us to diagnose.

Welcome to Android Central! What do you mean by "Scam see everything I do"? How do you know that?

Hi guys sorry for late replying. I purchused another phone and seems scam figured out details of that phone too. I am using my home lan and they seem control the lan . What do you think using vpn would help ? The first hacked phone acts normal but it is hacked for sure. What security protocol do you suggest to perform . What software shall I run.

Not sure why no one has said this to you but the odds of you being hacked are very low. The odds are much better that you are continuing some kind of bad or risky behavior on all of these devices or you are transferring your issue to each device via a bad app.

Please describe with some level of detail why you think you've been hacked? This was asked before and ignored but we cannot help you if we do not have details.

Simply based on what you've said, the first thing you need to do, after telling us the exact details of your phone acting up, is factory reset your device but this time opt not to automatically install your apps. If you bought a new phone and immediately started having the same issues something you're installing is bad. It might an old app that is no longer supported or compatible with newer devices and is just gumming up the works or it is just a bad app. Where do you get your apps? downloading apps from random interweb sites, yes that is a joke but I think you know what I mean, it is highly discouraged because of the risk these places pose. Those sites have no reliable measure to ensure that apps are safe, secure, stable, really what they say they are or anything else. We recommend sticking to places like Amazon App Store, Google's Play Store, your carrier's app offerings or your manufacturer's apps. In the mean time, tell us in detail what's up, what your phone is or is not doing, when this happens, provide any level of detail above "my phone has been hacked" and we will attempt to help you. The fastest thing to do would be to factory reset your device without installing any apps then go through your "My app list" on Google Play and install the apps you want back. This is also a great time clean out your device and not install apps you don't use or haven't used in "oh I can't even remember".

100% that my cells are hacked. They just track my online activity.
1.Does factory reset woud delete all malicious software, even in root of android?

2. Is it possible chage IMEI number.
