Bejeweled 2 Incompatible?

Today's free app from Amazon is Bejeweled 2, one of my favorite time killer games. Unfortunately, when I try to download it from Amazon, I get a message that it is incompatible with this device. Is there any way around this limitation? (I did install it successfully on my Galaxy S2 phone).

Yes. Go to a site that has pirated apps. I know its aweful but shut up. Then look up the Bejeweled 2 and sideload the APK. If you were going to get it for free anyways your not stealing. Just don't download any other paid apps for free.

I would tell you some site but AndroidCentral yelled at me the last time I listed some sites that you could side load apps from even free ones that might have been pulled from the Market.

That is a hilarious justification for pirating apps. I did once download a pirated version of Ms flight similar because I lost one of DVDs and just used my actual serial code instead of the cracked version.

My Bejeweled 2 from Amazon is working fine on my Xoom, although it does load a little faster on my Bionic.

Bejeweled 2 has been available on the Xoom for some time now. I actually purchased it directly from EA about a month ago.

Strange! Free Amazon Bejeweled 2 would not load on my Xoom or Transformer. I seem to recall finally getting a message that it was an ATT provided offer. Has anyone been able to get it to work on a WiFi only Xoom or Transformer?

Strange indeed! There must be more than one version floating around. But, there is no doubt that the version offerred by Amazon as the free app of the day would not load on my wifi Xoom.

Maybe there is a difference between the Wifi Xoom and 4G Xoom that has an effect, but the free version of Bejeweled 2 from Amazon works great on my Xoom.

This is crazy but I am not complaining. When I downloaded and installed Bejeweled 2 on my Samsung Galaxy S 2 phone, the app was automatically added to my app list shared by my Xoom and the phone. When I went to the app list on the Xoom to do some updates, I hit the "install" button and it worked!!!! I often times select the "get app" option from the Amazon pc website, which will put the app in my install queue. I believe I will start doing that all the time. For cbill and others who got the incompatible message trying to load Bejeweled 2 from Amazon, see if popped up in your app list and try installing from there. Makes one wonder if the "incompatibility" message was a glitch, or a slap to the wifi only owners.

Veventis and Freeky; Do you both have G3 or G4 service? The game is identified on my Amazon App Purchase List, but it will not allow me to download to either of my tablets or my Optimus V phone. I sent a comment to Amazon and they sent me a canned thank you email. I was going to "side load" it onto my tablets if I could have downloaded to my phone. Will keep trying and will post if I get any results.

I have wifi only. The reason that the game got onto my download list is that I was able to successfully load it onto my Samsung Galaxy s 2 phone. It appears that any app from Amazon that is downloaded onto one of my devices appears on the download list of the other. Although I got the incompatible message when attempting to acquire the game directly from Amazon when it was free, I was able to download it from the list of owned apps later. If it makes a difference, the Amazon App store app updated between the error message and the successful download.

Viventis: Hey! After getting your note I tried again to load onto my Phone, and was sucessful. After that I went into Amazon App Store with my Xoom, and tried to download it. No Problem!!!
