question. is the bell galaxy nexus just like the galaxy nexus you can buy direct from Google? going to canada and i can get one for $49 plus a $50 contract a month. then going to start tmobile service here. thoughts

Uhhh. You have to keep paying for that contract in Canada... or pay the ETF. Maybe I'm not understanding you plan here.

And no, its not the exact same. The hardware is but the software is not. It has a "yakjuxx" version, and the Google Play one has the "takju" software version. Takju is updated directly by Google, other versions are not.

You can flash any i9250 (GSM) model to takju, but just know that it isn't the exact same out of the box. It'll take a few minutes of your time.
