Benchmarks show Google Shamu as Snapdragon 805-powered, 5.2" 1440

There's a few screens leaked here:

I think the pics looks a bit fake, but I brightened up the pic of the back and it actually says "nexus"

I hope the 5,2" rumour is true though, I couldn't buy a 5,9" phone....

I like the look of the nexus 5 much more than these renders.

I don't get this.

Why would Motorola make their Moto X flagship with worse specs than this Nexus 6?

Moto X:
5.2" 1920x1080p
Snapdragon 801
2,300mAh battery

Nexus 6;
5.2" 2560x1440p
Snapdragon 805
3,000mah battery

It just doesn't make sense to me. They're making an entirely different device, not based off one of their own (which previously Nexus devices were essentially based off the OEM's flagship phone), and on top of that making it better specced than their own flagship.

I don't get it. Not saying that the Nexus X won't have those specs, it's just confusing to me why Moto would do that. If they can source those parts for the Nexus, I'd imagine they could source those parts for their new Moto X? Or maybe specs aren't that important to them.

Wow, this forum cracks me up. Five pages of maybes, phony specs, hopefullys and whatevers. How about just waiting until the flipping phone is released? Wait, let me start a rumor...Nexus 6 is a flip-phone.HaHaHa:p

Yep, someone missed the second most important point of the Internet.

Kind of what a rumor is...

Looks like an Moto X (2014) with fake blurred Nexus added on the back...

Better versions of the pics have been posted here:
Ny Nexus | Swedroid

It doesn't look like a photoshopped pic of moto x, there are too many differences in the details (like no bottom speaker thingy) - my guess is that it's a wishful render by an amateur. But I hope it's just an early basic render of a real upcoming Nexus.....i'm not getting my hopes up though....

Edit: The original poster says further down in the thread that He found the pics in the comments (a Disqus thread) on this page:
Motorola introducerar nya Moto X - Swedroid
where the poster writes:

"En polare på motorola i usa skickade några screens på en mobil dom jobbar på , den ska tydligen vara nästan samma fast lite större batteri"

I'll translate it for you:

"A pal at motorola in the us send a few screens of a phone they're working on, it's supposedly almost the same (as the moto x) but with a larger battery"

hm.........

Really don't like the look of that render. I don't like the look of the Moto X at all. Wish Google do their own design, or just go with a design similar to the Nexus 5.

Also, the Moto X looks like it has top and bottom stereo speakers, like the HTC One, however, it's just the bottom grille that's a speaker. Hopefully if the Nexus X is based off the Moto X, that both grilles end up being speakers.

I agree and also that dimple doesn't need to be there. That should be unique to pure Moto phones.

Well all Nexus devices have the OEM's logo on the back, no reason Moto wouldn't have one for theirs.

As far as renders and leaks go, I find it highly dubious to be anything substantial (although I do like the look). Also"EMTLeaks" isn't reliable by any stretch.

TK Tech News with more rumours of possibly a HTC made Nexus X phone: Nexus device(s) coming October 7, 8, or 9th? | TK Tech News

Basically that the Motorola Shamu is their Android Silver device and a HTC made Nexus X could be the official Nexus phone. Nothing confirmed, everything just rumour, pinch of salt ect.

The render of the HTC Nexus looks a hell of a lot better than the Motorola Nexus render: img_0020.jpg

If only it were real *wipes tear*.

I love this concept. it looks like an m7 which is a good thing for me.I personally liked the m7 over the m8. hopefully this is true, I am still using an s2 which is on its last limbs already.
