Benefits and shortfalls of operating software?

Hey All,

Please take this in the spirit intended. I am not trying to diss any one operating system over the other.

I am contemplating rooting my NC and would like your unbiased opinions. Advantages and disadvantages of installing on my internal drive

Also...I assume the NC runs off of a solid state drive...correct?
