So all I would do is download it from the store? That's it?
___2ext implementations, unless coded into the ROM, require some configuring to set up. Most notably, you have to set up an EXT partition on your SD card and enable the use of it within the OS.So all I would do is download it from the store? That's it?

Others here swear by them (shout out to BlackOps!), but they do come with their hangups. Think of a virtualization situation where you are storing a key part of your OS on a foreign node without any redundency. Read/write times and response can be slowed, failure of the node (SD card here) can be crippling, etc.
Upgrade your SD card to something better quality than what came with it, do your homework before implementing, and be comfortable with all of this flashing and ROMing stuff before you start. Make sure you are comfortable with using ADB and have a machine where you know it works.
