Best Android device value around 6"

Hello, I want to get an Android device for my mom, that has a crashed screen Lumia 640 XL. She wants that size of screen or even 6".

I am looking to Galaxy Note 4, Note 5, Huawei Mate 8, Huawei Mate 9, OnePlus 3T, Xiaomi, Blu, ZTE, and seem to be gazillions of different devices, but not sure which ones I could buy wisely and which ones I should stay away.

Good price could be $300 or even $400, and being listed to have some day the Nougat version is a plus.

Nexus 6. Several of those devices listed above are 5.5" - 5.7". Xiaomi, Blu and most ZTE devices should be avoided like the plague. If 5.7" is an option, the Nexus 6P is going to be the next best thing, and if 5.5" is an option, OnePlus 3T or the Moto Z Play would be on the short list.

That's the one device that made me say "most ZTE devices". Axon 7 IMO is their one winning device.

I dunno... I have yet to see how it pans out, but I picked up a couple of ZTE Zmax Pros for my kids... got two free lines from that T-Mobile promo before thanksgiving so they're getting them. In the short time I messed with it, seemed like a pretty damn good phone for the money ($100). Thing is close in size to the Nexus 6.

I would recommend either the Note 5 or the OnePlus 3T. Either of those phones would be great choices with a lower price tag.

There's no phone on the market today that compares with the ZTE Zmax Pro at $99 from MetroPCS. 32gb of onboard storage and an Octa-core processor, plus 2GB of RAM. There are better phones, but for way more $$$. It also does wifi calling which is tough to find on most carriers in an inexpensive phone.
