I use Google drive to save my photos.
I use Google+. It comes with a Photos app, which is your gallery of all pictures. I have it set to backup while charging, so I can delete any pictures I don't want at the end of the day (i.e. duplicates) before they are backed up. It also saves on battery life.
Google + photos and I use the standard setting so it doesn't take away from my drive space. Unlimited photos and videos, automatically synced! can't beat it! I have over 12,000 photos & videos saved in my g+ photos, but only keep about 200 on my phone hard drive at any given time.

Have you tried printing from the standard size in the cloud? And does it automatically start when wifi and charging?
