I've had the last 3 Nexus phones, as well as a Droid Bionic and a Droid X. All of them worked fine for me, usually lasting the whole day (at least half of it on wifi) and sometimes requiring a bump charge around dinner time. As far as my usage goes, I don't consider my phone a primary computer, a television set, a facebook addiction, or a game console...in other words, I have a life (I even talk to people at the table while having a meal). I use it for some phone calls (5 to 10 a day), a little texting (less than 10 a day) and whenever I need info...a quick internet search, looking up a movie, finding restaurants, navigation, and weather. I never turn any of my services off, and I keep the screen at about 60% brightness. Anyway, this holiday weekend I was on a trip with family and I was amazed at the battery life. I stayed off wifi (had tmo lte coverage every where I was) and at 6 or 7 PM every day, I would have 60 to 70% battery left, while my son's Galaxy Nexus was on it's 2nd charge. Around midnight, I'd still have 40% plus left. I'm sure there are a few phones out there that do better, but this is all I need with plenty of juice left over.
