Best Battery Life?

Which ROM/kernel out there do you find gets the best battery life? What settings do you use (speedtweak.sh or setCPU, min/max, etc.)?

I've been using dasBAMF for awhile with setCPU profiles, but I can never get my battery to last a full 16-hour day with heavy 4G use. I, and surely many others, would appreciate your ideas and input.

Cm7 no question

In my testing yes. It's a smaller Rom and takes less power to run

Interesting... CM7 v1.2 is 90.5MB.... Liquid Thunderbread v2.3 is 68.9MB.

I think these 2 ROMs are very close and really are a personal preference... given the same Radio they should both have very good battery life since they are both fairly lean compared to Das BAMF 3.0 RC4 is approx 289MB, which is full of Sense 3.0 bloat.

CM7 is pretty unreal. Battery and speed wise. I was using bamf and my battery wasnt getting more than 7 or 8 hours on a good day. I put on CM7 and I easily get a full day. I've been off charger for 12 hours with moderate use and im at 54%. Also just for s&gs I set the CPU to 1.8ghz and ran a quadrant and scored 2945 then tried quadrant again and got 3249

CM7 is incredibly fast. The battery life however, is no different for me from Das BAMF. I haven't tried any other ROMs as in my eyes, you want Sense, you use BAMF. You want AOSP, Cyanogenmod is your goto ROM.

Did I mention how fast CM7.1 is? I've hit a 3500 Quadrant running @ 1.56ghz. I wish I could get a stable run @ 1.92ghz lol

Battery life can be combination of things... not only ROM, but also Radio... I currently use Liquid Thunderbread v2.3 and the newest MR2 (1.39.00.0627r) radio... however on July 13th when I was still on v2.2 using the same radio I did a LTE battery test... here is my screen shot with over 11 hours on battery and using LTE.... 65% battery life after 11 hours is pretty good... I even got better battery life with Wifi turned on.

No... sorry... Liquid ThunderBread (LTB) comes with LauncherPro... one of big reasons I prefer LTB... CM7 does come with ADW if you are really concerned with the size of LauncherPro and want to load ADW... but LTB is a VERY small ROM.

Its not that big of a deal, I have both paid versions on my phone... I really liked launcher pro for a while then adw made a huge update to the paid version and IMO blew launcher pro out of the water... but again it is just my opinion. much easier to use i suppose
