Best Buy Availability

Have recent releases been put on pre-sale at Best Buy or is that an exclusively Verizon Corp. thing?

I'm looking to get it at Best Buy, so I hope it's there for pre-sale.

It's generally a Verizon Corp. thing. Best Buy will have it either on the 8th or the 15th (assuming a 9.8 release)

I remember the X2 was available at some best buys about 2 or 3 days before verizon although I don't think they were supposed to do that.

Best Buy Mobile gets a lot of treats early (I was a sales lead there for a year or so). I wouldn't be surprised to see it there on launch day. They probably already have the mocks and some accessories tucked away for planogram implementation closer to the launch.

I read a couple places that leaked flyer was for this Sunday...doesn't that seem early? I can see next Sunday, but this Sunday seems too early...unless, selling will start before 9/8???

I personally have never seen a "coming soon" type ad in a Best Buy flyer so I don't know what would be considered early for that kind of thing.

After the many headaches I've had with them, most recently all the stores in and around Denver giving me the runaround on the $99 Touchpad, I just don't believe Best Buy at all.
