Just goes to show you how the media has overhyped the whole "pandemic" thing.
Best buy hasn't sold T-Mobile since the Nexus S. Who knows if they will again because of the merger, but unfortunately for the time being you won't be able to get the device from them
They dont sell Tmobile, but they sell Sprint that doesnt exist....weird. I was told that BB are the only ones who can get you on Sprint phone with Sprint plan (they only have 1 plan available), but that apparently works on Tmobile. Makes zero sense
Less fingerprints on the matteOnly the bronze is matte. The black and white options have reflective glass panels. All 3 have a polished metal chassis and reflective camera housing. This video does a good job comparing the colors, and it seems the person kinda shares my sentiments, that the Mystic Bronze is the nicest color, but might be a bit off-put by the matte/spray painty finish compared to the white.

It carries a lot of impact for the 14 million people who lost their jobs in the US. But the economic effects, like the health effects, hit people very unequally. On average, people who are well-off enough to afford luxury electronics in the first place are more likely to be doing ok during the pandemic, and may even have extra discretionary funds available now, given the dearth of alternative entertainment and recreation options.I think its overhyped and it definitely doesn[']t carry that much financial impact as they said.
Walked into Best Buy and the Samsung rep was there putting the phones up. Waited patiently for him before playing with the phones. Quick impressions:

- Note20 Ultra feels physically indistinguishable in the hand from the Note10 Plus despite technically being slightly larger (same width, slightly thicker depth).
- You can definitely tell the difference between the glass-backed Ultra and the plastic-backed standard Note20. It doesn't feel bad, just not particularly premium. Interestingly, the Nokia Lumia line killed it with design and build quality back in the day using polycarbonate, but this plastic-backed Note20 doesn't quite feel as solid as those devices.
- Metal chassis is polished all the way through on the Ultra, but it's only polished on the sides on the standard Note20. The metal on the top and bottom of the standard Note20 has a brushed finished.
- Despite what I've heard, you can definitely tell the difference in size between the two in-hand. The standard Note20 feels darn near perfect between the size, weight, and more rounded corners. It's really a shame Samsung gimped it so much. Last year's approach of 2 different sizes of pretty much the same device made a lot more sense. I guess the smaller Note10 was too popular for their liking and they wanted those sales going to the more expensive model.
- Obviously, the difference between 120hz and 60hz was very noticeable. I've been using the S20 since release so the difference was immediate to my eyes when scrolling through the standard Note20.
Both are really fine looking phones overall, but the differences both externally and internally between the two are too stark to justify the standard Note20's steep asking price.
The merger made T-Mobile the face of the brand, but realistically they can't completely kill off the Sprint name that soon as there are plenty with incompatible devices. They have to slowly migrate everyone over in the next few years. With that being said they are honoring previous contracts where Sprint was sold i.e Bestbuy. When you visit you will notice signs that say Sprint powered by T-Mobile. The device is capable with both networks and will work if fully switched over to the T-Mobile side of the network.
Yeah....previous Sprint stores can only do Tmobile for new customers, and yet Best Buy does only Sprint. I wouldn't care if its Sprint or Tmobile, the problem is that Best Buy only has 1 plan "essentials" from Tmobile i think. I want Magenta Plus which they dont have

I don't believe you're locked into plans with T-Mobile unless it's tied to a promotion. You can always have it changed once it's activated.
I have to find out if you are allowed to change the plan
Best Buy, Tmobile, Sprint....all have no clue how it all works now. Tmobile and Sprint saying you cannot open new Sprint account, but Best Buy is saying they can only do Sprint. No one has a clue if i can change Best Buy plan, and no one has any Sprint plans, yet they are sure its not Tmobile and Tmobile plans are different from Sprint.
Definitely, I've don't that before !I buy Samsungs phones universal unlocked at Best Buy with no plan.
Like the service I get there.
Sometimes you run into a snag.
Just go to another store.
Green not bad at allNot many green pics so... A green pic along with the Bronze I saw today.
