Got mine pre-ordered, too! The moderator on the Best Buy Unboxed Message Board contacted the store I was trying to pre-order from and gave them the proper steps to complete it. Needless to say I got their first one!



Now...as to that $50 gift card. Are you saying they GAVE you a $50 gift card in addition to the one you had to buy? I paid for the $50 card, but certainly didn't get a free one to go with it.

Nope, just checked. Only doing preorders on silver. Guy told me that doesn't mean they won't have then in stock, just that they can't do the preorders. He told me he would set one aside for me if they do get a shipment in Black. I remember the same thing happened last year, had to get the white one x and then the black was available about 2 weeks later and I swapped it out then. I am a silver rewards member so I have 60 days from last weekend, I picked up the Note 2 to hold me over, so will just wait until the black is out, surprisingly like the Note 2.

Online pre-orders depend on your provider apparently. According to this post from above:

Does this mean it will be branded with AT&T or have any AT&T bloatware? Will OS updates for that device come from HTC or AT&T?

So far Best buy has price matched to AT&T stores which historically has had a lower off contract price. Me, I am going at lunch to Best Buy to pre order.

I typed in HTC one in the search bar, refined the search for highest price first and clicked on the black HTC added my reward zone certificates and gift cards and it went through.
