My Best Buy store said you put 50 dollars down as a gift card and then when you come in to purchase the phone you get that back to use towards the phone and I said oh so does that make it 149 and she said yes. But I don't get it your putting 50 down and getting it back so you would still pay 199 right? I didn't get it but last year we ended up getting the EVO 4GLTE for 100 after signing up for phone freedom to get 50 bucks off plus the extra 50 dollar gift card when you bought the phone. Plus I'm nor sure for an upgrade yet but can pay Sprint to upgrade early. But I just got a text from Best Buy that said your upgrade is due 5/1 choose phone freedom to save 50 bucks which is what I did last year so now I am really confused. LOL!

it's not confusing. You are making a $50 down payment. In case you change your mind when the phone comes out, you still have the gift card they give you. But yea, you spent the $50.

Yeah I wasn't thinking clearly I remember doing this last year with the HTC EVO 4G LTE you put 50 down as a deposit and they give you a gift card so your still paying 199 but when you go to pick up the phone you have 50 dollar card. But now I got a text just now saying if your due for an upgrade since I am a member of phone freedom I can save 50 bucks when I purchase the phone and the Best Buy rep said yes that will show up when I come in to get phone so I can get the phone for 149. But I have to pay Sprint to upgrade early and that will all depend on what I get for my EVO and accessories I guess. I'm gonna pre order in a few days. Sprint said to wait till after the 5th to buy back my upgrade so it will be on my later bill and not the next one coming up. But last years special we got the EVO for 99 bucks we saved 50 for Phone Freedom and got another 50 off when you bought the phone..

1.Pre ordered Sprint HTC One at best buy Yesterday! Can i still sign the contract there? Also the account is under my dads name so would i need him to be present? Sprint said as long as i have the acct password then that is fine but im not sure about best buy..

If you are an authorized user then you just need to have your ID. The carrier charges the upgrade fee. Not BB

Well ive never had sprint charge me any sort of activation/upgrade fee so i guess im good to go! Why cant the 19th come faster..
