Best Buy Inventory

I see the reports coming in with screenshots about showing some of the quantities that VZW stores are getting, but has anyone heard any solid evidence on the #'s for the BB stores?

when i went in last week, the manager was in a inventory screen- i noticed some low numbers. 1 store was like 4 and other was 12-

Ouch at the 4 at the one store. Imagine being number 5 on that list and feeling pretty confident about getting one, only to realize the store only got 4.

well I am either calling my store or going to it tomorrow, so if i can dig up any sorta info on the situation, like estimates etc, i'll make sure that i post the info

i dont understand why it's a huge secret about what the BB's are getting i called today and spoke to a manager and they dance around the question of " Am i getting a phone on thursday or not?" i mean i can see them saying well your #50 or #100 we are slated to get 25 or 10 but they act clueless. i went with a pre-order from BB casue i couldn't get off from work but i dont think they are any different then big red. Again every time i went to the local verizon kiosk at the mall they say yeah we'll take your info for preorder but never call or anything and everytime i call its the same old song and dance we are not excepting preorders. not sure if they are feeliong out the demand or what. all i know is i need two one for my wife and one for me..lol so i'm hoping my pre-order from BB comes thru and i can get one on my lunch at the mall.

I am going to go to my BB tomorrow and see if they tell me anything. One can only hope.

I did go into my Verizon store today and they said that they are only getting 20 and they are already have a list of 20 people so I could come in and they can order it on line for me.

Im #1 at my local BB so im not worried at all(at the moment). There is no way they wont get atleast 1 DX. But if i dont get a call by the 14th...then i will just have to be at my local Verizon by 5:30am. Its worth it.

Just got confirmation that my phone is in and Ill be picking it up at 0800 7/15 at Best Buy. I was #3 on the list and my buddy is getting his as well and he was #23. Cant wait!

They called to set up the appointment, I live in Greenville SC which has only one Best Buy, the next closest being in Spartanburg. The entire county has 450,000 people or so. She didnt say anything about being able to pick the phone up early, though I wish I had asked!!

Hmmm, so it sounds like I can finally rest easy being pre-order #6. Huge relief... lol.

Now work is going to go by so slowly as I wait for BB to call me.

I just went to a local Austin Best Buy and they showed me thier inventory screen. Locally its anywhere from 3-12. I hope they get more becuase my store is only getting 3 and I am number 9 & 10 on the list.

Received a call from BB. My appointment is 10:00 AM, when they open. Very happy about this.
