Best Buy New Nexus 7 available for pick up 7/26/2013.

Did anyone check Bestbuy website? My local BB in Dallas has the new Nexus 7 available for pick up today (7/26).

yup, so does the one in Columbus, OH. I ordered one and I will be picking it up later!

I did online and ordered it and just received an email saying its available for pick up at store. Its still early here in central time, can't wait 10 AM for store to open.

Almost all the BBs in the Boston area seem to have them in stock. I've just ordered mine to pick up, unfortunately have to wait until after work, but I'm gonna try to leave early today.

UPDATE: Just got the e-mail that mine is ready for pick-up too!

2nd UPDATE: Just picked it up at BB.... Doing this update on it now! Display is great, very speedy!

I received notification that mine was ready for pickup at Best Buy, but when I arrived they told me I had to wait until Tuesday.

She said they didn't even have the item. I'm not sure if that's true, or they wouldn't give them out no matter what.

wow, what a bummer. I wonder if that is going to be a common message from all of the stores. . .

I guess I will find out this afternoon.

Hmm I pre-ordered 7/24 and got the email that the release date was changed to today 7/26 and I checked the status it's say preparing for shipment I even paid additional $15 just for having it expedited, and now you could just go online and have a store pick-up WTH bestbuy, I should have learned my lesson the first time buying the N7, pre-ordered on google play ended going to sam's club on the release date and buy it from there now same thing!

So it seems like everyone is getting these emails and saying they will be picking theirs up "later".. Has anyone actually went and saw them on the shelves, and picked one up?

Curious because the closest store that has it in stock is 20 miles away from me..

I got rejected by a few employees because "The release date is July 30. We can't sell you one". This is not true. I got a good employee who actually checked the internal system. There is a memo that says (in bold) that the release date was changed to July 26. Problem solved, right? Almost. Now you need to get passed the managers who didn't believe it at first. They still refused to sell me one. A couple employees finally convinced them that today was the new release day. Payed for my new toy and walked out.

This thing is amazing so far! Already have a system update ready to install, even though I'm already on 4.3.

just got back from my local BB, walked out with new Nexus 7 without any hassle.

Just picked up a 16gig model at the Best Buy in Towson MD. The girl behind the pick up desk didn't want to give it to me at first but once her manager got involved he sold it to me no problem. He told me that Best Buy corporate sent out an email last night to store management saying if they had them in stock they could sell them starting today. Don't let any best buy employees tell you otherwise!

I just ordered two as gifts and am picking them up at 10 in Mission Viejo. I might get one for myself once I look at the screen and decide if the new higher resolution makes it usable for me. The current 7 " screen is too small for my aging eyes.
