Best Buy New Nexus 7 available for pick up 7/26/2013.

So far, I would say the display meets my expectations. I think it looks great.

Got mine at Best Buy in Durham, NC. Ordered online for in-store pickup. They didn't even hesitate to hand it over, and they mentioned some other people had already bought them there today too.

The BB website said that my local store in CT had the Nexus 7 in stock, but they did not. Went across the street to the Walmart, and they had about 5 of the 16GB version which had just arrived this morning. That was what I wanted, so I bought it. Was surprised to find that it did not come with 4.3 installed, but did the 4.3 update when I connected to my WiFi network.

Wandered into local Best Buy, picked up a 32 gig. Guy said they wont be on display til tuesday, but can be sold now, Im like, yep, 32 gig please.

Mines charging now!! I was upset this morning about no OTA for my original Nexus 7, now it doesn't matter so much.

It's strange how this is all working out. I pre-ordered from Best Buy yesterday. Got an email this morning saying the release changed to today. I went online and my order status said "backorder"

I canceled and was able to get one from Amazon for cheaper because of no tax and cheaper shipping. I will get it Monday.

Just picked mine up during my lunch break...makes me want to take the rest of the day off to set it up!

Curiously, after I initially did the setup, it rebooted and wiped out all the settings I had just changed, then it downloaded 4.3 and prompted me to install it. Anyway, working fine now, but I'll have to wait until tonight to start installing apps and seeing how it performs.

Definitely! It's bright and crystal clear. It makes my Nexus 4's screen seem kinda boring...

So I preordered one online after I got home. I got an email this morning saying release date for the preorder was today but no shipping confirmation yet. So checked their website and said the local store had them in stock to buy today so I canceled my preorder. Took a trip to the store on lunch and talked to the same guy who knew nothing about it last night; he's like yeah we have them but only the 32gb one and sold me one with no problem.

Got my unit about 20 minutes ago. They had a lot of them (20+) sitting out in the Emeryville, CA store.

Got mine this morning at Best Buy without a hitch. They weren't on display but they got one from the back as soon as I asked.

The display is impressive and the whole device is very fast.

Ordered 2 at 3:30 pm and picked them up from the Best Buy in Riverdale NJ an hour ago. They had about 4 more behind the counter at the pickup desk and the guy said they had a couple more of the 32 GBs left on the shelf. I didn't ask if they also had an 16 GBs. When the kids go to bed I'll open them up try mine out.
