Yep they did. I wanted a TV dam it even though I have no use for it. Instead picked up a 256 7+ today.

Guess I'm in the same boat as everyone. Anyone switching to the new Pixel? I am thinking about doing that... Best buy is offering $100 gift card for that too.
I'm personally going for the Lg G5. From what I've read it's a decent phone, plus Best Buy is giving a $200 gift card with it. Then when the next Note comes out ill pay off my remaining balance and upgrade to the Note!
Besides the note specific features, main thing is the screen edges of the N7 were more subtle. I am constantly getting mis-clicks and accidentally scrolling,, which is super annoying while in a browser because it'll usually end up locking up on me...
I have not yet put a case on this phone so not sure if that would help or not.

Wife returned her N7 for a S7. 3 hours is Best Buy once again. I was going to return mine and buy a cheap go phone and do a pre-order for the V20., But I looked online at AT&T at the pre order and the system said I was allowed an upgrade with the N7, so I just pre ordered the V20, will hold onto the note until my V20 arrives on the 28th.
If note 7 signal is killed before I recieve my v20, I will just purchase a cheap phone to get me by

Shouldn't matter. The promotion was form samsung not best buy just fulfilled by best buy. They want to screw you. Ask for a manager and tell them that you are going to return it, phone only, and to take up the problem of the fit 2 with Samsung. It was a free gift for purchasing the device and its not like you want to return the note 7, it's probably more along the lines of "as cool as it sounds I don't want to become a human torch" so yeah. You may use that if you want to! Lol. Anyways good luck and I hope it all works out.

Where did you see you are allowed an upgrade? I looked on the app and could not figure it out? Also, does that mean you can keep your n7 now too?
Edit...I figured it out. I'm with att and said not eligible.
I'll take my chance. It has a 1 year warranty. Next Note device should surely be out before that warranty is up.
Returned both Note 7's, went smoothly after fighting with store manager yesterday. No S7 edges in store so will order my wife one online. I am going to wait for the S8 and see what it looks like, hope they have a Note. No big deal, it's just a phone but we loved the Note 7's.

I think I was eligible because I was at best buy with the wife and I was going to turn in my note 7 for a cheap go phone so the BB employee cleared my phone for upgrade thinking she was going to swap phones. She took so long with my wife (3 hours) I was bored and got online with Att and went thru the pre order motions and bam, it said I was upgrade eligible so I ordered it while I could. Sure beats hours and hours at best buy and now I don't have to shell out for a temp phone either, I'll just beat the hell out of this N7 until the 28th when v20 arrives at door.Where did you see you are allowed an upgrade? I looked on the app and could not figure it out? Also, does that mean you can keep your n7 now too?

I also seen when buying att LG v20 you get a $200 credit with trade in and free headphones. I may have to visit ATT for trade in credit info. http://www.lg.com/us/mobile-phones/v20/promo/att

We were there until they almost closed the BB store down, walk out of best buy at 8:55. I spent less time financing vehicles. 3 hours for one phone exchange is ridiculous. Half the issues was all the ATT phone calls, but I think if I was at the source (att) they wouldn't have had half the problems.

I switched the Type C cable for a regular MicroUSB cable. lol
But I left the power plug.
