Has anyone been able to pre-order the Verizon Note 4 from Best Buy?

I stopped by Best Buy on Saturday and today. Each time they said that their pre-order system was down. I just checked their website and it shows "Coming soon". Has it always said this? Or did it used to say "Pre-order" at one time and it really is down now?

Are they out of stock for the Verizon version?

From what I can tell only a free have been able to pre order Verizon at BB and it had always said coming soon. Only a few have been able to order it in store.

I was able to pre-order the black Note 4 on Verizon at Best Buy Mobile just about two weeks ago.

To my knowledge it has never worked. They told me the same thing Saturday, "no verizon pre orders yet, check back soon". Hope they open it up soon. Only reason I want it from BB is that instant rebate from Samsung. I am buying 2 phones and don't want $400 tied up this close to Christmas.

Best Buy allocations are regionally based and always less than what the carriers get. This is why some BB still have them and others do not. If the $200 offer is driving most of the interest, Samsung might have shut the preorder allocations down. No way Samsung did not set a ceiling for total unit offers. They would be nut$ not to and the ceiling has probably been hit.

MAJOR UPDATE -

My thoughts on this issue were accurate. Each store (not district) have a specific amount of pre-order quanities they can process. Once they reach their limit, they're essentially done with all pre-orders. I called many Best Buy Stores and asked them to open up the page and check to see if they can or cannot pre-order the phone. I found one in Indianapolis, IN (Castleton Mall) that could. I asked her to leave the webpage up for me as I was only a 15 minute drive and was able to pre-order the phone. Once I arrived she had the page opened and completed my pre-order transaction. My buddy also got one while her pre-order limit hadn't been reached yet.

I suggest you call as many stores as you're willing to drive to, because this promotion is amazing ($200 for any working smart phone).

Good luck. I have proof if you need, but trust me on this one. I got it (Sprint White Note 4) not even 30 minutes ago.
The N4 (VERIZON).. (VERIZON) is NOT even available to pre order online on Best Buys web site, hasn't ever been...... I still think they haven't opened the flood gates to even make a pre order.

I called all 8 Best Buy stores in my area. None of them have any Verizon pre-orders remaining. Some had a mix of AT&T or Sprint, most didn't have these left either. Guess I missed the Best Buy $200.

My two older phones (Droid X, Droid Incredible) don't qualify for the Samsung $200 promo since their trade in value is < $10.

I had a weird experience at Best Buy. I had pre-ordered a Note 4 via VZW, switching to the Edge plan and prepared to be charged $35/month for 20 months. The Best Buy website showed the price of a white Note 4 as $25/month (and the black one at $27.50!), so I went to my local store. The sales associate confirmed the price multiple times - even when I expressed amazement they could differ from Verizon's pricing. They helped me cancel the Verizon pre-order and I signed up for a Best Buy one (purchasing a $50 gift card to commit). When I looked at the receipt they sent me, there was no info on the Edge plan pricing. I went back to the web site and it still showed the $25/month Edge pricing. Two days later I returned to the bestbuy.com site and saw that the price had changed to $35/month. Calling the store, I was told that the price was $35 and they were unable to offer a different deal from Verizon, as they were not involved in the billing. Speaking to the store manager had no effect, despite my complaint that they had wasted hours of my time and given me incorrect information, both on their website and in store.

They never offered to compensate me for the time or honor their commitment. I'm left with a feeling that they are disorganized and not focused on customer satisfaction. They have lost my business in all future dealings. It's a bad company that makes Verizon seem organized!

I pre-ordered the Note 4 at BB on 10/3 for Verizon. The only difficulty I encountered was that the black pre-orders were sold I out for VZW so I went with white.

I ran into the same thing, except I didn't pre-order with Best Buy. Sorry you had to find out the hard way. The guy in the store could not confirm any Edge pricing until order pickup. To me, you are not really gaining anything anyways by a lower Edge payment since you still need to pay off 60% in order to upgrade. It's all based on retail pricing, which they have no control over. Hence, the gift cards to try and draw people in.
