i got to play with a live one today and almost passed out. thing is bad^55!! of course we got busy and i got like 5 minutes with it. thankfully, do to my wife being the accountholder and me not using any employee line benefits, i got one on preorder.
plus, I can get $150 for my TP2 from BB trade in, 57 for my TP, and $41 for my touch. i just got a free evo and some accessories

i've never been a fan of people walking around talking on bluetooth. i think it looks weird. i recall the first time i ever saw one in use. i was in Wash, DC and walked into a McD's where this person was sitting a booth, rambling on to himself. i figured "well, i'm in DC after all, this cat is nuts". then later, i noticed the ear piece.
i've never owned one, but i'll be happy to have one in the car.

so will there be a email sent to us saying "with your evo you get a free bluetooth headset"... i just want to make sure i get my free stuff. I love free stuff but who doesn't i also was gonna buy one now i dont have to.

No, no email. I called the store I have my pre order at and spoke with the Mobile Manager.
I just wish BB gave you the option of the bluetooth headset or some equal value from the mobile department. I mean I'd rather get a $20 case than the $40 headset.
I'm with lembowski, just ordered my BlueAnt Q1 off e-bay for 48 bucks and the guy has already shipped it via FedEx. They're $129 at RS and ATT.
After reading everything and comparing the Q1 and T1 some of the reviewers are mistaken, there are things that the Q1 will do with Android that the T1 won't.

Tep vs black tie
I currently have the black tie protection for my Palm Pre and will be canceling it and going with TEP when I get the Evo. The reason is my Pre had to be taken in to be repaired. The BBYM rep was texting the whole time while helping me and I had to repeat myself numerous times. After 45 minutes finally I leave with my repair order just to find out 3 weeks later when BB received the phone back from the repair center they had to send it right back because the rep who originally helped wrote down my serial number as 123456.... I am still very mad about this and it ended up being over 50 days to get my phone. All of this without so much of a call from a BBYM or Geeksquad member I had to go in and find out why my tracking had said that I had received my phone when I had not. Apparently they forged my signature to get the phone sent back faster, another no-no in my book. So in my opinion it is not worth the 10 a month and I would reccomend TEP over anything, I never should have strayed away from it in the first place..

I just verified that this is true. BB Mngr says they have no platronics 230s so as of now he doesn't know which model we will get for free.
We dont have it in stock as of right now, though we should be getting them on one of our next few shipments.
