Best Buy Trade In

I was in the mall today and saw that Best Buy mobile has a trade in program for cell phones for a value up to $300 for the used phone.

That means I'll be getting my Galaxy Nexus for virtually nothing after trade.

For those trying to figure out the cheapest way to upgrade, this may be it.

Don't get too excited. We say UP to 300. Like a iPhone. Only way to get 300 is to trade in a newly released phone lol. Sorry.

I asked how much I'd get for my D3, they said it wasn't in the system yet. I was hoping for $200 to $250.

I've sold 4 - 5 phones on ebay and bought a few too. I generally get decent prices. I got $175 for a 3x used incredible ( I bought it used, used it myself for six months, then gave to my wife to use for four months) and plan on selling my 'Bolt when I get the Galaxy Nexus.

Poor Gazelle (disclosure, my brother worked for Gazelle before they laid everyone off and moved their operations from Boston to Texas).

They come up with a half decent business model before eBay and BestBuy swoop in and copy them.

If you bought a thunderbolt at Bestbuy on launch day, Buy back was given to you at no charge. Right now Bestbuy will give you $299 in Store Credit, not a bad deal unless you have multiple accessories

You must have had a location specific deal, because its 60 bucks here with BlackTie on launch day.

Also, they will give you 350, not 299 as long as you aren't over 7 months since purchase (30 days, then BuyBack starts).
