=| lol im starting to lose the drive/reason to get a new phone...
I just called my local best buy. They are not even getting V20's in anytime soon. They called the at&t Rep and he said I should go to the AT&T store since I have a note 7 to swap. Bought it at best buy. I didn't argue... I just want this entire nightmare over. Sucks I'm going to lose out on a $200 bb gift card but...
Still do not understand why ATT is so much higher. This is the biggest difference I recall in devices. ATT higher than Verizon by $160 (with tax). Seems nuts.
Verizon is offering the $200 and earbuds, so not a case of launch packaging differences.
I keep hearing Verizon is offering $200 for any trade, but I'm not seeing it anywhere. Have a link? I got $300 for G4, but that offer is limited to specific trades, not just any phone. My wife has a Note 3 we could trade in, but it didn't give me much on the appraisal screen.Verizon is offering the $200 and earbuds, so not a case of launch packaging differences.

Is that Verizon offering this deal, or are you talking about the Best Buy promo? I'm talking about an offer through Verizon directly. I know this is the BB thread, but your earlier post sounded like you were referring to a Verizon direct promo.Any Android smart phone that powers up and not damaged or cracked. They are taking my G1 and made a note on the account in case the mobile manager is not there when I take the Verizon V20 in. Whenever that is.

I went into another Best Buy last night and have yet another confirmation their POS system changed yesterday so that they can no longer issue promotional gift cards prior to the phone being issued.
I spoke with a mobile rep and the store manager that the fine (legal) print clearly says the giftcard is to be used towards the purchase price of the phone. While they agreed with me, they said the system won't physically allow it. They called some internal BB help number who confirmed it.
When I said they were committing fraud by not honoring the advertised promotion, they just shrugged and said "we plead the Fifth."
Another wrinkle about this offer is technically that can't even do it right now, instore nor online. The trade-in is instore only while the preorder is online only. According to them, anyone wanting to take advantage of this offer now would essentially have to return the preordered phone and then get a new one when they are physically released in stores.
What a cluster. Why do companies make it so difficult to do business with them?
