Best Buy V20 help

I keep hearing Verizon is offering $200 for any trade, but I'm not seeing it anywhere. Have a link? I got $300 for G4, but that offer is limited to specific trades, not just any phone. My wife has a Note 3 we could trade in, but it didn't give me much on the appraisal screen.

it is not any trade, but a select group of phones, but I got $200 for my LG G3 - to clarify that is for Verizon.com

Where does it say the phone has to be an Android? I was trading a non Android smartphone in. The mobile manager, seemed to be ok with my phone.

Cool if you can. I had a Nokia N600 and they said no since not Android. They did ironically take the G1 that is Android.

Has anyone tried the trade in yet. My Best Buy has the v20 in stock. Can anyone confirm if it counts toward the purchase of the phone or if they will take any phone including prepaid?

I explained as clearly as possible (for me), but best way is to go to your local BB and ask :)

My local BB told me to come back in Friday the 28th when it releases. Trade in my Note 7 where I bought it and walk out with a V20 keeping my 256gb sd card I got from them and a new Samsung 500GB ssd courtesy of their $200 gift card with some leftover. Also ordering the B&O headphones worth $150 from LG once I get it home. So yeh I'm getting something out of turning in my baby N7.

I cancelled my online BB Verizon order, since still no movement and was told 10/27 delivery (not happening). I will wait until BB has them in stock rather than having to wait around the house while on vacation for one to deliver.

Update: They have one in now at the store. Going to get it :)

Update 2: The goober at BB was wrong and did not have one.

I was just at best buy in the two hundred dollars only applies if you get a twenty four month installment plan on sprint

=/ I kinda dont want the installment... was going to just use my best buy card and do the same thing... maybe I wait if that the case... but seem like all my best buy have it in stock now... err... screw it i guess I wait to see if there a new promo later =D

Has anyone been able to successfully purchase the V20 from bestbuy at this point, either online or in store?

I pre-ordered in store to get the 200$ deal, but I am getting impatient and was wondering if buying online from them is a viable option or if I should just scrap it and go to ATT.

Seems there is still no time table for the stores around me getting any stock.

Thanks in advance!!

I was able to walk into my local Best Buy over a week ago and walk out with my V20. I think they only received 3 for each carrier. I was able to trade in my Note 2 for the $200 gift Card purchasing with a 2 year contract on Sprint. So $350 on contract, $200 gift card, and free B&O headphones, not to mention the 256 GB memory card from Note 7. Overall I feel that I got a great phone for a great price.

Thanks Vader! Sounds like you were one of the lucky ones.

Anyone have success ordering the V20 online from Bestbuy with their "2-day shipping"?

Vader, can you confirm that BB was able to re-up your 2-year contract on Sprint? I keep seeing posts online that BB can no longer do Sprint 2-year upgrades; Sprint corporate stores only.

If BB can renew contracts again, that's a game-changer for me.

Thanks,

-X

the day of the note7 recall or around it was the last day of the 2year contract within best buy so no atm... unless they put it back in the future

Thanks, K; that matches what I heard. I called several Best Buys in the area and they confirmed that Sprint removed that option for BB. Very sad, as I found several great BB deals for flagship phones + trade-in over the years...

Read the fine print it says twenty four month lease or payment plan two yr contracts do not apply

Absolutely, I'll try to attach a copy of my receipt that shows the 2 year contract pricing.Capture+_2016-11-04-19-16-32.png

My local best buy wouldn't give me the 200$ gift card when I turned in my note 7 for the lgv20 they said its because the note 7 is recalled and being sent back to Samsung so it doesnt qualify. I even spoke to the manager. Has anyone else had this issue ?

I will say that it did take me a total of three and a half hours of arguing and sticking to my guns that Sprint is still offering the 2-year contracts on certain plans. I had 4 salespeople telling me there were no more contracts even though their computer was displaying I had two year pricing available. I even had a printout from my Sprint account showing the two-year option to buy online . Finally after calling their Sprint representative who suggested just trying to ring it up which I also did 10 minutes after arriving , it rang up fine for $350 in 2 year contract. Not sure if it's just the employees at my best Buy or what but it took them 2.5 hours to return my Note 7 and Reverse my upgrade and 3.5 hours for my v20. I have been the store a total of 10 hours from initial purchase of N7 to V20.

Are you trying to return and use it as a trade in or just trade in.... because you get your money back for a return....
