Best Case for Incredible

My gf has been using the stock hard silicon verizon black glossy case. It looks nice and is doing the job. I think if she wanted she could probably go without a case the way she's handling this new gem of hers. I talked her out of a screen protector.

Last December I was the biggest supporter of the screen/body shields but then had to refurb my pre and went naked for a week. Haven't looked back and in 4 months I have no scratches and a beautifully crisp screen.

What's the point of spending $30 on a case when I can buy a new back cover for less if I do develope a scratch? If i were to drop/step on/smash my phone I doubt any case is really going to help.

Just ordered the Incredible yesterday at lunch. Having to wait is killing me, but now I can look for cases ahead of time. if you go to page 3 on this link, http://www.chuckscomputer.com/ftp/incrediblelaunchguide.pdf it shows all of Verizon's cases. Has anyone purchased any of these? I looked on their Online Store but have yet to see a couple of them.

Also, are there any certain screen protectors that you guys recommend?

those snap on cases are pretty sweet im gonna go test one out and see how it feels

I am personally waiting for a Case-Mate Hybrid Tough, Otterbox Commuter/Defender, or Seidio Rugged. I also want to find a good leather holster, belt clip top loading without a flap. Have one from my BB Curve that I like and have been using. Worked really well, I could swing it with all my might and the BB would not slide out, but its to short and to loose for the DI, it will get me by for now though. It's like this but leather,

It is pretty cool. It is sleek and has a shiny matte texture to it. It does provide a little more gripping surface for those who are dexterity challenged.

I picked up the Body Glove case today, and it's great. I love the fact that it actually makes the phone a bit larger, since my giant hands have trouble holding the phone and texting at the same time...

I've got the body glove case too. I was looking for a sticky skin like I had for my BB. But found this case and am very happy with it. The added bulk is good, and not intrusive.

I was hoping to find a pocket pouch that the Incredible can fit into WITH the VZW black silicone case on it as well. I keep the phone in my pocket for the most part and the screen does attract some lint that I'm not a fan of. I'm not really the type of guy to wear a belt clip/holster except for once in a great while either so...

Any thoughts?

from some angles, it kind of looks like a stylized I.D. maybe you can trick people into thinking it stands for incredible droid.

This is great. I'm with ya Bro, except for one thing. This phone is not designed to be laid down. Laying face up and your camera lens is grinding on the surface. Laying it face down and your screen is grinding the surface. They could have designed a "lip" around the screen so when you lay the phone face down (which is my preference) it would balance on the lip instead of the glass. Anyway it appears I won't be able to go naked with this one.

Leather clip-on case (fits Verizon HTC Incredible silicone case)

Most of the time I keep my cellphone in my pocket, but when I?m working out in the field, I find it?s better to have it protected inside a clip-on case. My problem was that I needed one that would fit with the Verizon gloss black silicone cover which I didn?t want to keep taking off and putting back on each time to use it.

My recent search struck gold with this case at Best Buy. It's a ?rocketfish? (Best Buy?s private brand) universal leather magnetic flap type case. It fits the Incredible with the Verizon cover as if it was custom made. The model number on the packaging is RF-WR337 and the full UPC is 600603118791.

The quality of the leather is good with a slight softness to it and it has a velvet liner. The belt clip is also leather covered and swivels 360? with a slight lock-in every 45?. The clip is not removable. That magnetic flap holds nice and firmly, having two magnets, allowing it to be worn horizontally, vertically or even upside down for that matter.

There is a finger hole to help assist pushing the phone out but only fits my pinky finger and it?s slow in pushing it upward to get it out. It?s definitely a two hand operation this way. I then tried flipping it from horizontal to vertical during a call and push it out making it easier to get out of the case since the silicone cover resists it from gliding out quickly. Lastly, I?m now wearing it upside down with the flap oriented at the bottom and it doesn't ever come open on its own because the magnets keep it firmly in positioned. Now when I get a call, I can just push the flap downward allowing the phone to slide down nice and easy into my palm with just a one hand operation. It's sort of like drawing your gun, just I wouldn't recommend doing this while facing a cop in the distance.

I'm sure this case will work if you're going nekked with your Incredible but it won't sit as snug inside.

It cost me $19.99 and surprisingly can't be found on their website. Must be a store only item.
